Greenpeace East Asia is seeking a dynamic and passionate Digital Engagement Manager to lead our digital engagement strategy and drive impactful supporter interactions in Taiwan. This role is crucial for aligning our supporter engagement and digital outreach with Greenpeace’s brand, communications, and fundraising strategies.

 

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As the Digital Engagement Manager, you will spearhead the development, support, and implementation of our engagement strategy. Your role involves crafting compelling digital engagement strategies, integrating digital fundraising efforts, collaborating with external digital agencies, and ensuring a cohesive approach across online and offline initiatives. You will play a key role in enhancing our digital presence, optimizing performance, and contributing to our organization’s strategic goals.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop & Implement Strategies:
    • Create and execute marketing strategies to boost brand awareness, supporter engagement, and revenue growth.
    • Develop and oversee integrated digital fundraising strategies to attract and retain supporters.
    • Analyze industry trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions.
    • Optimize digital channels and integrate new technologies for enhanced campaign performance.
  • Engage Supporters and Coordinate Audience Efforts:
    • Innovate supporter engagement strategies to maximize impact.
    • Provide expert guidance and develop audience-centric campaign plans.
    • Support digital fundraising strategies and enhance online visibility.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    • Develop and track KPIs for digital engagement and fundraising projects.
    • Analyze metrics and provide insights to optimize ROI and achieve KPIs.
    • Monitor brand recognition and engagement progress.
  • Omnichannel & Content Management:
    • Oversee creation of engaging digital content that reflects Greenpeace’s mission.
    • Ensure alignment of digital outputs with branding and audience needs.
    • Expand collaboration with external agencies and vendors.
  • Team Management and Cross-Functional Leadership:
    • Manage team performance and implement growth plans.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to develop engagement strategies.
    • Foster a culture of creativity and collaboration.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERTISE:

  • Proven experience in developing and executing digital strategies that drive engagement.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing project teams and external agencies.
  • Exceptional project management abilities and experience in data-driven decision-making.

 

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Creative and analytical with a track record in building audience engagement.
  • Experienced in managing senior stakeholders and influencing decisions.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin.
  • Passionate about environmental issues and experienced in a culturally diverse environment.
