Summary/purpose of the position:

Greenpeace East Asia is looking for a dedicated marketing professional passionate about tackling global and local environmental problems.

The Content Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in helping to accumulate and mobilize supporters to accelerate our campaign's and brand's success. Living in the age of information explosion, we urgently need to maximize the awareness of crucial environmental issues to the public, communicate the solutions with different stakeholders, and build Greenpeace as a leading voice of nature and climate change through strategic digital tactics.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Digital content creation  
    • Predict audience preferences by GA data and social performances, apply and share the insights with the cross-department team. 
    • Create and copy-write digital content, including social posts, video scripts, articles, landing pages, EDM, and lead-generation ads for different channels and audiences.
    • Manage and operate social media channels to increase engagement rate and brand affinity.
  • Strategy development and execution
    • Plan, outline, and implement digital pushes as part of an overall campaign strategy based on Taiwan’s social trends and external circumstances.
    • Coordinate with multiple departments, able to summarize the comments and develop practical action plans.
    • Cooperate with vendors/freelancers to deliver high-quality outputs timely.
  • Key influencers marketing
    • Identify potential key influencers for campaign success/ lead gen/ fundraising purposes.
    • Develop and execute customized co-op plans with key influencers, creating meaningful engagement opportunities for Greenpeace donors and supporters.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1 - 3 years of practical experience in digital multimedia marketing and/or brand management; knowledge of Taiwan and wider Asia digital trends. 
  • Familiar with multichannel marketing management, taking into account the exposure and effectiveness of social media, email, key influencers, blogs, etc.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.
  • Proficient at project management and account management. 
  • Leadership in managing budget and vendor, acting as a team player that can help the team and other departments to drive good performance.
  • Ability to produce content/creative writing for videos, websites, blogs, and social media marketing campaigns.


Preferred qualifications: 

  • Enjoy challenges, gather resources proactively, and be self-motivated.
  • Interested in finding sustainable solutions to mitigate environmental problems.
  • Interested in a professional career in international non-profits, willing to learn continuously and strive for excellence.
     

Work environment

The position works in a standard office environment and is required to travel to others. Normal hours of work for full-time Employees will be 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), between the hours of 9.30 am to 6:00 pm, including an hour of lunch break. Ordinary hours of work may be varied as agreed between staff and the line managers.

 

Interview process
