[Responsibilities]

1. Develop & Implement Strategy and Plan
-Develop strategies to meet the new donor acquisition market KPI's and budget
- Work with the Fundraising & Engagement Management team to deliver on the strategies, and meet the department goals
-Lead the strategies for acquisition across multiple channels including Telephone fundraising, DRTV, Direct Dialogue Campaign, or other fundraising channels. 

2. Donor Acquisition - 1st Year Journey & Content Localization
-Create Fundraising Content from local campaigns and adapt the global programmes for the local market

3. Reporting and Performance Monitoring
- Ensure monthly reports are delivered by the Fundraising team
- Provide regular reviews, analysis, and reports against program objectives to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement 
-Monitoring and reporting on key metrics such as attrition and channel ROI

4.Managing Teams & Complaints
- Manage the fundraising market team in a professional way

5. Cross-Functional Team Collaboration
-Work with the Data Insights Team, Engagement & Marketing Technology Team, and Donor Development Team to understand the current donor pool, identify who to target for new donor acquisition, and how to best retain the donors we currently have 
-Work collaboratively with the Program Department to enhance fundraising efforts and deliver local projects

Purpose and Scope of the Job

The Fundraising Manager is a key position within the Fundraising & Engagement team. The position holder will be responsible for all donor acquisition activities in the HK, TW, KR, or JP market, with a focus on recruiting new regular giving supporters through a variety of methods which may include: Digital Fundraising, Telephone fundraising, DRTV, or Direct Dialogue Campaign. In addition, they will be expected to identify and develop new opportunities for donor recruitment, which includes innovation within the current channels and exploring new channels. (L1-L4)

Fundraising Managers are responsible for leadership in overseeing the agreed unified brand identity across a diversified channel mix for new donor acquisition. They are the primary lead in FR & E team coordination and staff integration efforts and coordinate directly with Greenpeace Programme teams on FR & E strategy to deliver the local projects. (L3-L4)

They also support the donor development strategy in their market and manage the front-line donor care work. They are also the direct liaison with external NGO and INGO partners. (L2-L4)

Scope

This is a results-oriented position focused on supporting the teams to maximise fundraising KPI’s. This will be achieved by working with the local team & cross-departmental teams, and the regional support teams to recruit, and retain donors to GPEA. The role is a management role, and it will work in project teams when applicable. (L1-L4)

Job responsibilities

● Develop and manage all acquisition plans across the market Individual Giving program (L1-L4)
● Work with the Fundraising & Engagement Management team to deliver on the strategies, and meet the department goals (L1-L4)
● Lead the strategies for acquisition across multiple channels including Digital Fundraising, Telephone fundraising, DRTV, Direct Dialogue Campaign, or other fundraising channels. (L1-L4)
● Develop innovative and best practice strategies, plans, and tactics across acquisition to grow the program (L1-L4)
● Develop and deliver the Continuing Support Strategy alongside the Head of Philanthropy and Donor Development. E.g. Donor Care. (L1-L4)
● Identify, research, and develop business cases for new opportunities to recruit long-term supporters. (L3-L4)

Cross-Functional Team Collaboration
● Work with the Data Insights Team, Engagement & Marketing Technology Team, and Philanthropy & Development Team to understand the current donor pool, identify who to target for new donor acquisition, and how to best retain the donors we currently have (L1-L4)
● Work collaboratively with the Program Department to enhance fundraising efforts and deliver the local projects (L1-L4)
● Work closely with the database and finance teams to ensure that all data and income generated through acquisition activity is recorded in an accurate and timely manner. (L1-L4)
● Take the lead in coordination work within local FR&E teams. Represent the FR&E Department in the local market cross-functional teams collaboration. Ensure alignment in all high-level cross-functional teams discussion. (L3-L4)
● Be pro-active in undertaking regular competitor reviews, in contributing to product development and innovation, and in attending fundraising networking groups (L3-L4)

Donor Acquisition - 1st Year Journey & Content Localization
● Create Fundraising Content from local campaigns and adapt the global programmes for the local market that enable the operationalisation of the 1st Year journeys, by working alongside the Engagement & Marketing Technology team. (L1-L4)
● Ensure the Welcome journey and any journey of the Donor 1st Year Journey for all newly 2 acquired supporters is effective and meeting agreed KPI’s (L1-L4)
● Ensure all content is of high fundraising quality, are is relevant to the organisation. (L3-L4)

Job responsibilities

● Responsible for monitoring and reporting on all suppliers and ensuring best practice is followed across the programme (L1-L4)
● Provide regular reviews, analysis, and reports against program objectives to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement (L1-L4)
● Monitoring and reporting on key metrics such as attrition and channel ROI (L1-L4)
● Monitor and evaluate all acquisition activity and make recommendations to improve future activity and feed into longer-term strategic plans. (L1-L4)
● Oversee budgets and expenditure to meet fundraising strategic objectives and targets that making sure information is accurate and reconciled where necessary(L3-L4)

Managing Teams & Complaints
● Manage the fundraising market team in a professional way (L1-L4)
● To be the first point of contact for any complaints relating to activities carried out by fundraisers acting on our behalf. Follow the fundraising complaints process and procedure, and liaise with the relevant Tele-fundraising agency (L1-L4)

Build Network
● Develop alliances with other NGO and INGO organisations (L3-L4)
● Share fundraising successes with the wider organisation (L3-L4)
● Build and develop successful partnerships with external suppliers, and manage their performance (L3-L4)

Other Duties
● Seek knowledge of any political turbulence in the region, and understand its potential impact on the Fundraising team performance (L1-L4)
● Participate in relevant project groups as directed by the the line-manager (L1-L4)
● Keep abreast of all developments in Fundraising & Engagement legislation and regulation as well as Data Protection (L3-L4)
● Take the lead in the Brand Research to understand the audience in different groups e.g. Financial, non Financial Supporters, and potential supporters. (L3-L4)
● Keep up to date with sector trends and market developments, including benchmarking 3 (L3-L4)

Skills and Expertise required

● Strong people management skills
● Experience working across a multi-channel fundraising program
● Experience across channels such as regular giving, and donor development
● Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage campaigns end to end
● Supplier management experience
● Background in data-driven fundraising with proven knowledge of data segmentation and targeting of specific audiences
● Reporting and post-campaign analysis experience
● High standard of numeracy, budgeting, negotiation, and presentation skills
● Highly developed written skills, with demonstrated attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
● Strong Conflict Management and Negotiation Skills
