Purpose and Scope of the Job

Overall purpose of the job
Managing Greenpeace’s East Asia’s online channels including public website, social media and the 3rd party communities by creating content, moderating, encouraging conversation deepening engagement and growing communities. Additionally acting as the principal digital content campaigner on campaign project teams to deliver engaging, innovative and effective online campaign content that meets the goals of Greenpeace East Asia’s Engagement strategy. Working with project teams, 3rd party content providers design and implement strategies to mobilize new supporters to build campaign power and strengthen the Greenpeace movement, while also constructing engaging supporter journeys to build supporter leadership in a campaign.
The Digital Content Campaigner is responsible for online campaign implementation across public website, email, social media, SMS and other digital platforms. He/She will also be putting efforts into writing engaging content and/or curating compelling stories from external writers. The Digital Content Campaigner’s job will be metric-driven and ensure Greenpeace is maximizing the daily and long-term opportunities to communicate with its supporters – often serving as the first line of communication with our supporters.

Job responsibilities

Conceptual tasks, Strategy development and/or Project management

  • Work on cross-departmental project teams -- and in some cases lead those teams and facilitate the projects -- as well as with the Engagement Coordinator to develop and execute creative online strategies that help achieve campaign and program objectives;
  • Work with the Engagement Coordinator, the Fundraising team and the Communications team to plan and implement weekly homepage, social media output strategies on a variety of Greenpeace East Asia’s platforms both owned and earned channels such as public website and social media. 
  • Create digital contents to drive leads and engagements use SEO best practices to generate traffic to our site
  • Organize content schedules and follow the digital output strategies, collaborating with internal or external resources to ensure timely delivery of materials;
  • Understand audience preferences and plan corresponding content and channel distribution strategy


  • Developing credible actions for supporters that support the project’s campaign and engagement objectives
  • Ensuring all communication and digital strategy across campaigns aligns with the objectives of the overarching digital and engagement strategies, and with agreed target audience groups
  • Manage various online social communities and be constantly monitoring participant data and other engagement trends to ensure the organization is operating as optimally as possible in those environments
  • Independently create compelling  various digital content  and  support readability content or eye-catching titles providing to help promote Greenpeace campaigns and fundraising work
  • Respond to and engage with supporter comments across Greenpeace’s various social media communities
  • Working with vendors, external content creator,  and freelancers to help implement any proposed engagement plans. 


  • Help research, develop and manage the implementation of Greenpeace East Asia’s digital channel strategies.

  • Experience creating, managing and updating digital content for the web and growing a social audience
  • Data-driven thinking and direct marketing communications skills
  • Editorial skill to predict audience preference

  • Hands-on skills in advertising operation and performance analysis on digital channels / platforms

  • 다양한 디지털 콘텐츠 (블로그, 소셜미디어 포스트, 뉴스레터, 개인화 이메일, 유튜브 영상 등) 기획 경험과 실행력
  • 디지털 미디어 환경과 최근 트렌드에 대한 해박한 지식
  • 평소 환경보호 및 관련 이슈에 대한 해박한 지식과 함께 이를 적극적으로 실천하는 환경인 
  • 매사 적극적이며 긍정적인 마인드로 분위기를 밝게 만드는 팀플레이어
  • 영어 소통 가능자 우대 



- 연봉 : 최소 3,500이상

- 근무시간 : 09:30~18:00 (1일 총 7.5시간 근무(30분 단축근무), 주 37.5시간 근무)
